I would like to give you a very warm welcome as we start the first week of in-school learning. School is officially back in session and it is delightful to see everyone . We had a lot of fun this week. We worked on our routines and get familiar with our daily schedule.
In English, we looked at punctuation marks.We learned about capitalization and punctuation rules and applied them correctly. We worked on our writing skills, and correcting sentences.
In Math, we reviewed shapes. We investigated the relationship between 2D and 3D shapes. We also described, classified and compared their geometric attributes.
In Unit of Inquiry, we inquired the various ways in which science and technology changed our lives. We also examined the inquiry cycle and came up with some ideas and questions to govern our research and presentation.

In Art, we continued to explore the elements of art. We learned how artists used these elements to create artwork and express ideas. This week we focused on the element of line. We practiced writing different kinds of lines.We identified and discussed how lines can be used to express emotions.
