December 10th-14th

This week in grade 1,

We had a busy week! We have a new friend in our class, Aiya. She had a trial lesson on Monday and has officially joined our class starting yesterday, so welcome Aya! This week we had a trip to the library for Japanese class and we spent lots of time looking at some really cool books!

We started building our communities. We wrote proposals to build and started building what we thought we needed in our town. We brainstormed and took a vote and came up with Book Town.

We had an exciting afternoon when we brought a hallow stick back from the park today only to find out that it had a giant bee inside of it that we woke up from hibernation! In the end Ms. Dana was brave a caught it and we let it go outside.

Don't forget to practice for the talent show if you're performing on Thursday. The homework this weekend is Raz kids and Mathletics.

Thanks Bo and family for the very cool Christmas cards. Have a great weekend.  We didn't get to do the spelling test today but we will do it on Monday.
