Dear Parents,
Happy Literacy Week! We had a productive week filled with a lot of literacy activities. We were happy to participate in the spelling contest, listen to the parents' stories, visit the local library, and much more!
In Library class this week, we did a role play where we pretended to be library detectives and went on a book hunt to complete some challenges around the library. This activity helped us to know how a library works, where to find fantastic books, and the wide variety of resources inside it. We also made our own bookmarkers to celebrate Literacy Week.

Challenge number 1-Can you find a book about a country? Lily found a book about America. |
In English class, we continued to develop our writing skills by engaging in creative writing. We used our imaginations and creativity to make up a story. We then made a poster to illustrate our story ideas.

In Math class, we continued to do some mental strategies and worked with our peers to solve the problems, We also read and interpreted scaled pictographs. We had a great time making our own pictographs then interviewing our peers to find out some information about them.

Have a good weekend,
Ms. Trichelle
